Anjuna Beach
Anjuna Beach, known for its infamous full moon parties lies 8 km west of Mapusa. Since 1970s, it has been on the top favorites list of tourists a hippy hangout because of its superb beach that is an idyllic place to dance

Baga Beach
A small fishing seashore lined with thickets of shady palm trees that provides a stunning view against the playful sea waves, Baga Beach is secluded enough to gain popularity among the topless sunbathers, though it is not among the famous 'nude' beaches

Bambolim Beach
A virgin beach in itself, Bambolim beach is small and clean and is free of human interferences.

Benaulim Beach
Tranquility still rules the beach with its soft sands, pretty wooden fishing boats and palm trees. Free from jellyfish in general, the sea is safe for swimming.

Bogmalo Beach
A valley fringed with coconut trees and redbrick huts to the north of Colva bay, Bogmalo is a small fishing village rapidly turning into a successful tourist resort.

Calangute Beach
Goa's busiest and most commercialized resort, Calangute has been an epitome of Goa's beauty and serene fishing villages since 1970s and have been very popular among the self-indulgent hippies.

Candolim Beach
With plenty of large-scale package holiday complexes and quiet sandy lanes, Candolim scores a point above nearby Calangute.

Cavelossim Beach
11 km south of Colva, lies Cavelossim beach known as the last chief settlement in southwest Salcete.

Chapora Beach
10 km from Mapusa, the old fort of Chapora is more easily accessible from the Vagator side of the hill.

Colva Beach
The oldest and largest of South Goa's beach resorts, Colva is marked by 'Vaddos', or wards, colonial style villas and dilapidated fishing huts.

Dona Paula Beach
7 km from Panjim, the secluded bay of Dona Paula, a former fishing village turned into a commercialized resort, is situated at the junction two of Goa's famous rivers

Miramar Beach
Also known as 'Gasper Dias', Miramar is just 3 km from Goa's capital, Panjim, and a km away from Dona Paula

Palolem Beach
The picture-perfect beach of Palolem has a beautiful crescent shaped bay fringed with a swaying palm trees.

Vagator Beach
Distinguished from Anjuna by a couple of kilometers of cliff tops and scorched grasslands, Vagator's scenery has an old-worldly charm with its dilapidated farmhouses and captivating old Portuguese bungalows

Varca Beach
One of the most luxurious and exotic beaches of Goa, Varca is 2 km south of Benaulim.
